Surely sometime you faced with that huge problem that means that they send you a compressed file…. You looked at it and you said to yourself and now what do I do with this! Relax, that has a solution with this free software that I bring this time. It’s called 7-Zip (yes, it’s not the acronym, it’s called that).
Requirements
As always I try to reach utility software and also be multiplatform. This one, in particular, works perfectly on MS Windows, as well as most distributions of Linux, Unix, and their derivatives.

- Processor: Pentium III 500 MHz or similar
- RAM memory: 64 Mb
- HHD space: 6 Mb
Recommended:

Features
The two most notable features are:
- Integration with the Shell. That is, we can right click with the mouse on the compressed file. This will pop up the 7-Zip options menu. There, we can choose to extract the compressed files. Also you can choose the folder where to extract the file.
- The wide variety of formats it recognizes. Whether to decompress only (AR, ARJ, CAB, CHM, CPIO, CramFS, DMG, EXT, FAT, GPT, HFS, IHEX, ISO, LZH, LZMA, MBR, MSI, NSIS, NTFS, QCOW2, RAR, RPM, SquashFS, UDF, UEFI, VDI, VHD, VMDK, WIM, XAR and Z). As to decompress and compress indistinctly (7z, XZ, BZIP2, GZIP, TAR, ZIP and WIM).

Installation
